Rememberance night riding

respectin ........
Working on Remembrance day can be a bummer , which is why I took off for a ride afterwards and thought about my Grandpa for a good part of the night . The stories he had from the war make my head spin . I`m sure Mr Spielberg and Mr Hanks would have loved to use some of the things that happened to him in one of their shows . I would post up some of the stories on here but don`t think this is the appropriate place to do that sort of thing . From what I heard from my Father is he was on the beach at Normandy before the invasion checking for explosives (mines) . Let`s just say the man had serious balls .......
can you spot the runner ?
As far as the ride went , I was tired and am glad the end of the week is here . Despite being tired I felt good and enjoyed every pedal stroke (even the ones at the end when I suffered) . The ride through Mill Creek back to the Jeep was strange as there wasn`t a soul in the entire ravine , or so it seemed .......

a slight idea of the view cruising the roots . night riding is definitely different
