After experiencing two downpours at work that would have filled up an area the size of the Atlantic ocean (that may have been a slight exaggeration) and rain that fell pretty much steady throughout the day, I was prepared for a "wet weather route" ride. Much to my surprise the doublewide gravel trails in Mill Creek were pretty much dry so I gobbled up the honour of riding singletrack. Oh my! What an honour that is!
Not a long ride as my legs were sore from the night before, but I got to play in the famed Ewok, exited and rode along Riverside golf course, did a 180° turn and tortured my legs on the paved climb up to the top of Forest heights where I descended down that ever so great downhill, spun across Dawson and took the trails back to homebase. In short. It was another good one....giggidy.
