Beer Friday. Rhinelader Brewing. Bad Hare, Octoberfest

As we enter the second week of this Hallowed month a transition from a music video to Beer Friday seemed to easy to let happen. With more visits to Doctors trying to get answers and finally getting booked into a specialist complete with a pre MRI visit is what filled up my week. Oh yes, and going to work. Going to work and moping around that is. This whole ankle episode has been quite incredibly fubar.

This is the second Rhinelader beer that has been reviewed on here in the last few weeks. Brewed in Monroe, Wisconsin. Which is a giant correction from my previous review which I pegged as Red Hare Brewing from Atlanta Georgia... Oops. I will make amendments tomorrow. I am quite embarrassed.

I poured this October seasonal German style lager into my trusty Beer Friday tasting mug and watched a two fingered head form on top of this good looking beauty. I sat and watched it for a few moments and wondered if this will be better than it's brother which was on here not too long ago (which got pegged as a different brewery) which did not do to well. This one fared the same as the last one unfortunately. It seemed to be watered down and a mineral type taste that does get saved with a light hoppy residue. This beer does not have the oomph to impress, ironically much like the Edmonton Oilers who I used as a picture prop for the shoot.

this beer gets 2 suds out of 5
