A Return to the Glorious Valley

An after work ride in what seemed like months! Finally, I grew a set and went out after work to Edmonton's Holiest of Holies. The River Valley! The weather is certainly nothing to hold me back as it's been on the plus side of the thermometer all week. The only thing holding me back was me. I'm not blaming work for this week's collapse.

The trails were a tad sloppy in some areas but for the most part were good for non studded tires. A few icy sections to keep one on his toes for sure. The overall feeling of being down there made me giggle  uncontrollably... In fact a dog walker had to come over and ask me if I was all right. Everything in the valley this evening was perfect. From the sewer smell in Mill Creek (oh you know that part) to the sound of the trees in Ewok Forest. Sometimes this valley is a magical place! Especially when my time down there has been rare lately.

I even took a beer along for a ride!
