Yes it was short, but squeezing in a ride on Fathers day with one of my kids leaving the other one at home upset and deprived was a good way to kill an hour. The short trip made me think lots about riding from home on some sort of road or touring bike. It has an appeal that seems to tug at me every Spring and early Summer. One year I know I'm going to break and go out and get one and will soon be posting about trips out of town. One year..... But if you know me well, I have already been saying this for over ten years so I'm not going to hold my breath.
