Sloppy and Squeeky

A ride in rough weather is a great way to spend a Sunday. Some may have just rolled their eyes after reading that as they think back to  my incessant bitching about the rain the last couple of years. That is true, the rain did irritate me but that was after weeks of nonstop downpours rendering the trails unrideable. The truth is. I love a good crappy day! Being in the valley on days where most hide and watch movies is truly special. The sound of the wind whistling through the trees as the rain or snow hammer the side of your face is truly awesome...

The only problem today? Is the non stop rides through wet dirty conditions has finally caught up to my drivetrain and a squeak started and annoyed me for half the ride. Today's ride through wet slushy snow finally set it off making me wish I had brought my headphones. It was a shorter ride for a weekender anyways. A trip through Mill Creek up to Forest Heights and down, I gave Gretzky bridge a high five and turned back and squeaked  back home. A ride all done on the south side of the river.

what you cant see is the noise...
