Looks Like a Typical March
The above pictures pretty much sum up the conditions right now. I have ridden this type of ice without studs a few years ago and it was a little bit hairy. Tonight though I gave my tires a great big kiss and tried to seduce them once I got back to the Jeep. I looked longingly into their treads and told them they make me so hot as I stroked their sidewall. Quickly I noticed some dog walkers were awkwardly staring as I seem to have interrupted them packing up their pooches.
Well that may not have happened, that is however how I felt about my tires. Schwalbe, Ice Spiker, 2.11's to be exact. I've been quite happy riding with them for the last couple of years and they were simply awesome tonight.
