Redeemer

I seriously cannot wait to ride this thing on singletrack. A debut of the gravel biker was had today and that new bike feeling has been a long time coming.

This thing is a rocket.

I never rode skinny tires my whole life and the overall speed was quite the eye opener. The opening of the ride I found things a bit squirrelly as the tight handlebars made steering touchy. It didn't take me long to get used to it 'and the bike felt quite responsive in a more positive way.

Out of the saddle sprinting felt  very weird but as the ride continued things got more comfortable  and by the end of the ride I was out of the saddle at times feeling like a hero amongst men feeling like a regular Erik de Vlaeminck.

Will get into the bike in more future posts, things are getting late here.

In a short summary this bike will be more of a game changer than the fat bike was when I first got it. The ride possibilities are quite endless. Today I took it from Old Timers to Beverly via north side valley where I climbed out and found the LRT tracks and tried to backtrack back to the Jeep.

So far the best ride of the year. Uncontested.
