Do I Call This "Gravel Bike Week?"


I like to think of myself as a slightly overweight forty seven year old version of Jonas Vingegaard and set out on another mainly road  ride today after one went down yesterday. The mountain bikes still sit after another big storm rolled through last night and it is starting to get frustrating. 

Goldstick ravine was the starting spot and I had no plan which resulted in me riding into Sherwood Park where I found an impressively massive baseball park and rode around that and then sent it home. 

Catching a couple of e-bikers who had blew by me on the climb out of the Science Park was a big highlight and when they passed by me on the climb with arrogant smiles on their faces I knew it had to be attempted. The feeling I had when I knew I was catching up to them enroute to Sherwood Park

Yes, Sherwood Park, land of the White woman with big glasses and a black or white suv. 

I passed them and didn't feel so cool after I realized what their actual age was.
