The Gameday Ride

There was no ride planned for today as there was plenty of stuff to get ready before the big game. Waking up at 6:30 a bit nervous (yes, I am nervous about today, mock me, go on....) I decided the best thing to do is spin some pedals in the peaceful valley on a Sunday morning, as my home will be very loud this afternoon.

A very good decision, a ride from the Queen up  into downtown where I rode around and took in the city. I love mornings and downtown Edmonton gave me everything I love about them. The smell of bakeries and restaurants cooking what smelled like delicious food filled the air. It was quiet, real quiet and after a tour through the city I crossed the High Level and descended back into the valley and back to the Jeep to get ready for this afternoon.

Short and sweet yet wonderful.
