With all the usual loud obnoxious "lake people" now hibernating and waiting for next year to come back and drink , we had the opportunity to test out the new motorhome ........I mean land Yacht (this thing is huge) with a trip to the not so much talked about lake .
With the lake being pretty much deserted , a canoe ride was in order . My what a smart idea ! Not wearing a life jacket and heading out to the middle of a very cold Albertan lake in a tippy canoe . My what a dumb idea ! Well , not falling in was a bonus . After a short stay at the cabin we all got back in the giant beast of a vehicle (all four kids , six adults , and two dogs) and slowly made our way home .
No ride today but it was all good , Easily one of the best lake days I had .......
