First off, if you live in the Edmonton area and have been complaining about the hot, humid weather we have been having lately could you please find yourself the nearest lavatory and insert your head into a toilet and flush several times until you reach some common sense. It's Alberta. Enjoy this weather while it's here cause before you know it we will be back here.
Tonight's after work ride was a sluggish sad affair. That I can say was very true, a bout of allergies came from nowhere and ruined my weekend and tonight I finally had enough. A trip from Mill Creek to the former Canada Cup trails for some good old fashioned mountain biking. A night I needed bad, the heat did overwhelm me at times and I had to sit on the side of the trail feeling like that of a pudgy Wal Mart lady all hot and bothered after reading Fifty Shades of Grey. Yes the heat did get to me.
