After a massive snow storm last week and the roaring return to Winter, this evenings ride in the valley had that typical Spring feeling. That is the typical Spring feeling that feels pretty darn good. The ride from Mill Creek to Dawson bridge was a celebration in bicycle drivetrain destroying! If you hate your bikes or enjoy dumping money into new chainrings and chains than this is your time of year to ride. I don't hate my bike. A good thorough cleaning after each ride is enough to make up with the bike after all the punishment of a Springtime Edmonton valley ride. Much like going to the hospital together after a fun filled evening of sado masochism with your loved one...
