Sunday Wet Rolling

A pre Seahawk ride ridden before the big loss in Green Bay. Something I knew would happen which takes the sting away a bit.

The ride started in old school Mill Creek and looped across the river across the all mighty Groat Bridge after riding the paved trails on the North side of the river. That being said it wasn't a very exciting ride but yet, it still had that hot and heavy river valley enchantment that drives me wild.

Not a lot of people out compared to yesterday which made things great. Although a strange occurrence happened as I rode the singletrack just West of the Low Level Bridge when I heard cheering in an open area. I stopped and saw about twenty people on the James Mcdonald bridge with a large sign. I scanned the river and saw no watercraft assuming a marriage proposal was going down. Thinking nothing of it I moved on into the trees, Once in the open again the cheering ensued. Only louder. I rode into the trees and it got quiet and once again in the open they cheered.

No boats.

Were these people fucking with me?

This was just like one of my many cheesy daydreams, only in my daydreams, it's not ordinary folks, It's Victoria Secret lingerie models.

I really should have gone back and read what that sign said.

With twelve straight days of work up ahead. Here is hoping the riding can continue..
